 Basic Preschool Information

The preschool program is for ages 2 - Pre-K

(A full list of rates for all programs can be found in the application package)

Parents of 2 and 3 year old children who are in diapers need to provide diapers and wipes (must be potty trained by 4 years old)

A $2 dollar a day fee for changing and potty training is applied

Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:00am – 5:30pm.

Non-Refundable Registration Fee: $90.00 yearly.

(due at each new or re-enrollment registration regardless of month registering)

Full-Day Preschool Tuition Rates and Times: $215 a week from 7:00am – 5:30pm

Part-Day Preschool Tuition Rates and Times: $165 a week from 8:30am – 12:30pm only

Payment Due: By cash, check or Tuition Express

  • If paying by credit card a 3% processing fee will be added.

  • If you pay by ACH, your cost will be $1.00 a week.

Late Payment Fee: Wednesday after 9:00am a $20.00 late fee is applied.

Day of Change PT to FT: A fee of $20.00 is charged any day a Part Time student attends Full Time

Year Round: We offer a complete school schedule and a full summer program

Discounts:  Siblings enrolled in the program (First child full price, second 10%, and third 10% etc.)

Snacks: Two snacks are provided each day (mid-morning and mid-afternoon)

Lunches: Provided by parents ($5.00 per incident if provided by F.P.A.)

What is Foundations Preschool & Academy?

F.P.A. is a biblically based Preschool & Elementary school for children 2 years old to 3rd Grade. F.P.A. is an extension of Calvary Chapel Chattanooga. We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. The Bible is the final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind. It is the sole and final source of all that we believe.

Where will F.P.A. be located?

F.P.A. - Preschool is located at 3401 Broad Street in Chattanooga. F.P.A. - Academy is located in the children's wing of Calvary Chapel Chattanooga located at 3415 Broad St. in Chattanooga. We ask that all Academy parents enter and leave using the Children’s Ministry North Wing door.

Who are the leaders of F.P.A.?

Pastor Tim Millsaps is the C.E.O., Pastor Robert Benoun is the Campus Pastor, Connie Benoun is the Preschool Director and Christie Gilliam is the Academy Principle.

What level of education do our teachers have?

Our teachers and assistants have education backgrounds with most having early childhood experience. All teachers and staff are thoroughly background checked and adhere to biblical principles.

What is the teacher to student ratio?

F.P.A. abides by the set TN State Regulations which are as follows:

2 Years 1:8

3 and 4 Years 1:13

Will students need to be potty trained?

Not 2 & 3 year olds; However, parents need to provide diapers and wipes and pay a $2 dollar a day fee for changing and potty training.

Is Foundations Preschool a curriculum based school?

Yes, our teachers are equipped with a Christian influenced curriculum designed to facilitate educational development and spiritual growth. Teachers have the creativity and flexibility to tailor their lesson plans to each age and ability level. Our goal is to equip each student with biblical knowledge and academically prepare them for the future. Lesson plans will be posted so you can be aware of what your child is learning.

Does Foundations Preschool have any accreditations?

Yes, we are members of the Association of Christian Schools International. (ACSI) as well as licensed by the Tennesee Department of Education, DOE Provider #134299

Does Foundations offer any discounts?

We offer 10% off for siblings of those attending any grade in F.P.A.

What are F.P.A. health and safety protocols?

We have a Kiosk check-in system which utilizes a QR or pin code, so dropping off and picking up your child is extremely easy and safe. We will not be requiring face masks for either the student or the teacher. And our facility is cleaned and sanitized nightly.
